Community participation
Registration is optional for reading. To participate, we store your verified account email privately, your contributions, consent choices, and necessary moderation records. Do not include sensitive personal information or other people’s contact details in your submissions.
What becomes public
Proposals and constructive responses are public only after review and publication consent. A display profile and named attribution require separate consent. Otherwise, attribution is anonymous. Expert profiles require both consent and editorial approval; credential claims are labelled verified only after administrator review. Account email addresses, supporting documents, consultation responses, reports, appeals and private moderation notes are not published.
Access and retention
You can read your own submissions and manage consent in My participation. Authorized editors access submissions and private documents for review and abuse handling. Account and contribution data are retained while your account remains active or until deletion. Publication withdrawal immediately hides your contribution but keeps the private submission for review.
Withdrawal and deletion
You may withdraw public profile consent or publication consent at any time. My participation also provides account deletion, which removes your community profile, proposals, responses and private supporting files. Responses attached to deleted proposals are also removed. De-identified moderation history and independently authored editorial content are retained. You may submit a private moderation appeal from your submission’s status page.
Notice before public launch
This operational notice describes the community safeguards. HAITI50 should review it for applicable legal requirements and add its verified privacy contact before public launch.
